About Me

Amanda Campbell: Amanda Campbell is a theatre aficionado originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, now primarily based in Toronto, Ontario. A soon to be graduate of the University of Toronto’s Drama Studies program, Amanda began her work as a theatre critic with the development of her blog The Way I See It in September 2007. Since then she has reviewed productions from almost every professional theatre company in Toronto, as well as shows on Broadway, in Vancouver, Edmonton and Halifax. She has also conducted interviews with such celebrated Canadian artists as David Storch, Sharron Matthews, Patricia Zentilli, and Ron Pederson, as well as interviewing Tony Award winner Idina Menzel. Amanda also writes plays, novels and for the past four summers has taught theatre classes for four to nine year olds at Neptune Theatre School in Halifax.
